Only 43 out of the original 86 figures in the Genealogical series that runs around the choir clerestory remain. Most of these have been put into the south window of the west transept and the main west window. As a result most of the existing windows here in the choir clerestory are nineteenth and twentieth century copies. However six of them are original - those in the north transept.

Decyphering the names suggests that both the genealogies in St Matthew's Gospel and St Luke's are followed that follow the line of Joseph, husband of Mary.

Some of the windows are being restored and are therefore absent in this display. n.b. This display is in the course of development
